Who Should Attend
This educational activity is specifically designed for hematologists, oncologists, and other physicians, clinicians, physicians-in-training, and healthcare professionals (oncology nurses, pharmacists, physician assistants) involved and/or interested in the therapeutic management of patients with CML.
Objectives
After successful completion of this course, participants should be able to:
- Identify two practical recommendations for monitoring response and assessing progression in CML patients
- Comment on at least two strategic plans for the management of CML patients who exhibit suboptimal response to treatment.
- Review three second-line therapy options for patients with suboptimal response or who have failed front-line therapy
- Identify two strategic options for choosing front-line CML therapy
